When I say “sushi plate” I mean literally one piece of sushi per person (usually about 1/4 inch thick). You can order more pieces if needed but these are pretty filling on their own since they come with rice underneath which makes them easier to eat than traditional rolls made only out of fish without any starch involved such as soy sauce

The restaurant was opened by Kazunori Nozawa, who trained under Jiro Ono of Sukiyabashi Jiro fame and eventually became his protege before opening his own sushi bar in the United States.
